No Time Like the Present
Next week will mark two years since I left Papua and, never one to put things off for long, I pulled out my photos today and decided to finally start doing something with them. For the third time.
As I looked through the photos, reflected on my time there, sat with the memories, and made notes of stories I haven’t thought about for a long time, I was so grateful. It was a really hard year, and sometimes that makes me want to avoid dwelling on my experiences. But I’m really pleased that I’m at a point now where, more than anything, I’m grateful for it.
I’ve needed some space to breathe, but I’m looking forward to digging into the memories and seeing my experiences in a new light—starting with these photos!
